WENN - Britney Spears' life has been a complete circus the past few year which may have prompted the healing entertainer to title her forthcoming album just that: Circus. Spears has confirmed her new album Circus is finished and will be released in December 2008 according to WENN.The LP, a follow-up to 2007's Blackout, was originally scheduled to hit shops later next year 2009.But rumors suggested that bosses at Spears' music label, Jive Records, were keen to push the release date forward to piggy back off of her current popularity. The Toxic hitmaker has won back her audience, as well as three coveted MTV Video Music Awards, after bouncing back from her public breakdown earlier this year. For the first time in a while Spears has been making headlines based on her music successes and not her personal turmoil. And now label chiefs have confirmed that the record will be released on December 1 to coincide with Britney's 27th birthday. The first single to be taken from the album is titled Womanizer.
